Ghaziabad: In the Maulana Azad Colony of Border Police Station area of Ghaziabad district of UP, 6 people of the same family died due to suffocation after the LCD caught fire due to short circuit on Sunday night. The people of the colony could get information about the incident at 9:00 am. The police arrived after receiving the information and took the body and sent it to the post-mortem. Due to the traumatic event, there is an atmosphere of mourning in the colony and the surrounding area.
Yusuf, originally a resident of Jani Meerut, resides in Maulana Azad Colony in the Loni Border Police Station area along with his 4 brothers Asif, Rashid, Munna, Arif. Most of the family members had gone there due to the marriage of ancestral village resident relatives. On Sunday night, Parveen wife Yusuf, Fatima daughter Asif, Sahima daughter Asif, Rukaiya daughter Asif, Abdul Aziz son Rashid, Abdul Ahad son Rashid were in the house, everyone was sleeping in the room on the ground floor in the house that late-night short circuit. A fire broke out in the LCD in the room and 6 people of the family sleeping there died tragically due to smoke filling the room.

When the door of the house did not open in the morning, the people of the colony reached the information about the incident and reported to the police, the police broke the door and pulled out all the dead. On receiving information about the incident, Senior Superintendent of Police Sudhir Kumar Singh reached the spot and inspected. Police have sent the bodies for postmortem. Police officer Rajkumar Pandey says that further action will be taken on post-mortem reports and complaints of family members.
