Meerut: ADM City has busted the sale of fake petrol and diesel while raiding a fake petrol pump opened without permission. During the raid in Kankarkheda area, a friend of a petrol pump worker and the operator has been arrested. After the incident, administrative officials have started investigating the entire case.

The biotech diesel petrol pump was inaugurated in Pathanpura village on Bhola Road in Kankarkheda police station area three days ago. Regional villagers had complained to ADM City about the quality of diesel and petrol sold here. After which, on Tuesday, ADM City Ajay Tiwari, along with the whole team, raided the petrol pump. It is said that before the arrival of the officials, the owner of the petrol pump, Gaurav Kumar, resident of Aligarh and manager Ankur Kumar escaped from the spot. Seeing no company boarded the petrol pump, ADM City asked the employees of the petrol pump to ask for documents related to the pump, so they could not show anything.

When the authorities carried out samples of diesel and petrol from two tankers buried in the ground, then a solvent-like liquid was found instead of diesel and petrol. Officials were stunned as soon as the petrol pump running without permission and the fake oil sold there were exposed. ADM City has summoned District Supply Officer Neeraj Singh on the spot and started investigating the entire case. Kapil, the employee of the petrol pump and Guddu, the friend of the operator, have been taken in custody.
