Lucknow: The number of patients infected with the global epidemic coronavirus is increasing rapidly. There is only a few remaining days to end the fourth phase of the lockdown implemented in the country to prevent infection, but neither the growing number of Corona cases is being curbed nor the migrants returning to their home states from different states.

A large number of migrant workers of Uttar Pradesh are also coming back to their home state by a special train. According to Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary, Home Avnish Awasthi, 27 lakh labourers have returned to the state so far. According to news agency ANI, Awasthi claimed that these workers were provided train and bus facilities on behalf of the state government at no charge. Additional Chief Secretary, Home Avnish Awasthi said that the state government will continue the free train and bus service till all the migrants return to the home state safe and sound. People who had returned from the Shramik Special train claimed of taking the ticket money, after which the Uttar Pradesh government was fiercely angry.

Bus politics was also done in the name of bringing the workers back home. Priyanka Gandhi, the National General Secretary of the Congress Party, had asked the state government for permission to operate 1000 buses to take the workers home, after which the letter controversy went on for 3-4 days. The Congress Party is constantly taking an aggressive stand on the issue of workers.
