Lucknow: A youth has died in a terrible road accident in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow. The young man was hit so hard by a speeding car while crossing the road while talking on a mobile phone that he jumped 8 feet up in the air and fell on the road. The youth lost his life in the accident. The incident was captured on CCTV, the video is going viral on social media. Police have registered a case with a complaint from the family members of the deceased.

According to reports, Anil Upadhyay, a resident of the Krishna Nagar police station area of Lucknow, was originally a resident of Jaunpur. He worked in a private company located in Vijay Nagar. He was crossing the intersection while talking on mobile on the morning of July 17. In the meantime, he was hit by a speeding car coming from Alambagh. The car had hit them so hard that they jumped 8 feet in the air and died after falling on the road.

Meanwhile, a complaint has been lodged against the accused on behalf of the brother of the deceased. Police are investigating the entire case. According to ACP Krishnanagar Swatanter Singh, CCTV footage is from July 17 and some people fled after hitting the youth who died. He said that with the help of CCTV footage and number plate, we are trying to trace the accused and he will be arrested soon.
