Lucknow: In a bid to providing safety, honor and empowerment of women, the third phase of the Yogi Adityanath government's massive ‘Mission Shakti’ campaign will commence from August 21 and continue till December. The UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked officials to line up programs keeping in mind the benefits of women from all sections.

Director, Women's Welfare Department, Manoj Rai, said that "the state government is committed to the safety, dignity and empowerment of women under which positive results of Mission Shakti have been seen". Apart from organising various programs on behalf of the department, work is being done to connect women and daughters with the various schemes of the government,"he added.

The third phase of Mission Shakti will be launched by the Department of Women Welfare with the 'Haq Ki Baat' program.

“Through Swavalamban camp, women/girls in the state would be linked to various government schemes. To make the women self-reliant and to make them aware of other schemes, application forms of schemes like Destitute Women Pension Scheme (DWPS), Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana, UP Chief Minister Bal Sewa Scheme among others will also be filled in these camps,” the official said.
