Lucknow: There is not a single active case of the global epidemic in 15 districts of Uttar Pradesh at present. The total number of active cases in the State has come down to 446. Additional Chief Secretary of the state Information Navneet Sehgal said on Saturday that as per the latest situation in Corona in the state, active cases are nil in 15 districts. Not a single corona patient is left in Aligarh, Amethi, Ballia, Bahraich, Chitrakoot, Farurkhabad, Firozabad, Hardoi, Hathras, Kasganj, Kaushambi, Mahoba, Saharanpur, Shamli and Sonbhadra today. These districts are free from covid infection today.

He said that in the last 24 hours, not a single new case of infection was detected in 49 districts, while only 26 districts were found to have patients in unit marks. At present, the number of active covid cases in the State is 446. So far, 0.6 crore 88 lakh 62 thousand 712 covid samples have been tested. In the last 24 hours, 02 lakh 38 thousand 218 covid samples were tested and 42 new patients were confirmed. During the same period, 64 patients were recovered and discharged. So far, 16 lakh 85 thousand 689 people of the state have recovered from corona infection and recovered.

Additional Chief Secretary Sehgal said that the recovery rate of corona in the state is 98.6 percent. The daily positive rate last day was 0.01 percent. More than 0.5 crores 70 lakh 85 thousand covid vaccines have been administered in the state so far. Last day, 07 lakh 24 thousand 335 people got vaccine cover. He said more than 04.81 crore 47 thousand people have taken at least one dose of covid. More than 89 lakh 37 thousand people have received both doses of vaccine.
