Meerut: Hastinapur, which was the capital of the Pandavas, 40 km away in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, has the distinction of being a historical land. Now the historical Hastinapur is moving towards creating another history. This case is about registering his name in Guinness Book of World Records in relation to the plantation. In Hastinapur today, the Forest Department team has made the first step towards creating a record by planting 360 plants of 30 different species in a prescribed 55 minutes.

The plantation drive was carried out at 8 different places in Uttar Pradesh. Among them, Barabanki, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Chitrakoot, Sitapur, Lucknow, Banda district are the main along with Meerut. Plants of different species were planted at all places within a specified time frame. This entire process was recorded through the drones. The entire process was recorded by putting cameras in every direction north, south, east, and west. Now these recordings will be sent to the team of Guinness Book. Later its result will be announced whether the record is made or not.

In Hastinapur, Meerut, 15 teams got together and planted 360 saplings. Each team consisted of 2 persons. One member of the team was planting saplings, while the other was photographing the process. DFO Aditi Sharma, who is leading the team, was constantly present on the ground and was boosting the morale of the members. In the scorching heat, this exercise was completed on time.
