Lucknow: Police have so far registered an FIR against 200 unidentified Bharatiya Kisan Union (Bhakiu) workers following clashes between farmers and BJP workers at the Ghazipur border in Uttar Pradesh. All of them have been booked under sections 147, 148, 223, 352, 427, and 506 of the IPC. BJP General Secretary Amit Valmiki has lodged a complaint with Kaushambi police station in connection with the case, during whose reception there was an uproar.

In fact, BJP workers had gathered at the Ghazipur border on Wednesday to welcome their leader Amit Balmiki. Meanwhile, BJP workers clashed with "farmers" who were agitating against agricultural laws there. After that, flagpoles started moving from both sides. The farmers were more, so they fell heavily and the BJP workers had to run away. Now, a case has been registered against 200 unidentified persons at Kaushambi police station on the complaint of BJP leader Amit Balmiki in case. Police had also reportedly made a video during the clash on the basis of which the accused are being identified.

BJP workers had alleged that a large number of "farmers" first broke the glass of vehicles and then attacked the workers with swords, spears, sticks, and sticks. On the other hand, 'Kisan' leaders are calling it a BJP conspiracy. Police deployed at the spot immediately dispatched the BJP convoy as tautness escalated.
