UP police shot dead Mukhtar Ansari's sharp shooter, has murdered BJP's Dalit leader

Lucknow: Ali Sher, the sharpshooter of gangster Mukhtar Ansari, was killed. The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) dumped him in an encounter in Madiyanarea of Lucknow on Wednesday (October 27, 2021). His accomplice Kamran has also been killed during this period. A reward of 1 lakh rupees was announced on Ali Sher and 25,000 rupees on Kamran. According to media reports, the encounter took place near Dhaila on Lucknow IIM Road.


Here Ali Sher and Kamran were surrounded by the police and asked to surrender. But the miscreants started firing at the police. Police also fired bullets in response. Both were killed after several rounds of firing. According to Vishal Vikram Singh, additional SP of the STF, a carbine, two pistols, a desi gun, a bike and a large number of cartridges were recovered from the slain miscreants. Police had received information about the duo plotting to kill a big businessman in old Lucknow. Police found their location near Madiyan. Both were given a chance to surrender but both opened fire. Both the criminals were shot in retaliation. It was the police who rushed the duo to a hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.

Ali Sher was also accused of the murder of BJP Dalit Front president Jitram Munda in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Munda was among the leaders close to former state CM Raghubar Das. Another BJP leader Rajkishore Sahu was injured in the same attack. The murder was committed on September 22, 2021 (Wednesday). Munda was sprayed with bullets at the middle of the intersection.
