Major action on History Sheeter Imlakh in Muzaffarnagar, property worth crores confiscated

Muzaffarnagar: In Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, real estate worth Rs 25 crore has been attached under the Gangster Act for the top ten history-sheeter criminals accused of assault and arson. Giving information on Sunday, Senior Superintendent of Police Abhishek Yadav said that historyheater Imlakh has been involved in gang-related criminal incidents since 2008.

The police officer said that in 2017, he pelted stones and fired at a police party in Sherpur village under Kotwali area and set the Cheetah mobile on fire. He said that about half a dozen cases like the Gangster Act, Criminal Law Act, attempt to murder, cheating and forgery are registered in various police stations of Muzaffarnagar against the History Sheeter. The accused is also involved in making fake marksheets of UP board and other boards.

The SSP has further stated that action has been taken against the gangster under the Prevention of Gangster and Anti-Social Activities Act 1986, in which 41 bighas of land worth Rs 1.1 crore located in Simarti village in his Chhapar area, 26 bighas of land worth Rs 90 lakh in Tajpur village , Three crore rupees plot in Sarwat village of Civil Line area, Baba Medical College building which is worth about 18 crores and land worth two crores has been attached.
