Dehradun: The bodies of 36 people have been recovered so far in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district on February 7 in the disaster caused by the glacier. The state's CM Trivendra Singh Rawat has reacted to other issues, including the disaster-stricken Rani of Chamoli and the situation in Tapovan region. During this, Rawat said about the situation that there is a need to be careful not to panic.

CM of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat said, 'The situation of the lake (near Rani village) is still there, there is a need to be careful and not panic. The lake is about 400 meters long, the depth is not yet estimated. Even today the team of scientists is going there, they will research there and report to the government. After the water level in the Dhauliganga river of Uttarakhand on Thursday, the rescue operation being carried out to save 25-35 people trapped in the Tapovan-Vishnugad project tunnel for the last four days. 36 bodies have been recovered from the disaster-hit area so far and 169 others are still missing.

The rescue personnel of the joint team of Army, ITBP, SDRF and NDRF, who have been running a continuous operation to evacuate people trapped in the tunnel since Sunday's disaster in Chamoli district of the state, suddenly rise in the water level of Dhauliganga after noon.
