The cabinet will take a decision today on whether the relaxation period will be reduced from seven in the morning to one in the afternoon. The government is yet to formulate an action plan on the conditions after the end of the lockdown, but the final decision has to be taken in the cabinet. A decision can also be made on the implementation. In the cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister has sought reports from the Home, Health, Disaster Management, Food Supply and other departments on the conditions during lockdown. This report will be shared with all ministers. After this, the decision on whether to continue or end the lockdown in the state from April 15 will be taken.

The whole situation will be discussed by the Cabinet, in which the government and the District Magistrates can also be discussed. Chances are the meeting will last longer. After this, the action plan will be approved for the post-lockdown situation. The government is in a dilemma about the increasing number of cases of infected people and people coming into contact with them from April 15. If there are fewer cases of infection in the next few days, the government may decide to open the lockdown in a phased manner. Under this, relief can be given in some hill districts. If the number of cases increases then the government can also declare the lockdown to continue. A proposal has been prepared regarding the situation after the end of the lockdown at the governance level. The Health Department will propose to the government that if there is relief in lockdown then strict rules of social distancing should be in force in sensitive areas Dehradun, Haldwani, Haridwar, Roorkee, Kotdwar etc.

Along with opening of necessary offices in other areas, the government may take a decision on opening some other non-government institutions. The government is not in favor of opening any educational institution. The chances of Uttarakhand Board getting permission to conduct the remaining board examinations are slim. The state government may also apply the legislators 'decision to use MP funds for the Corona transition for the next two years, along with the Union Cabinet's MPs' pay cuts. On the other hand, the Himachal Pradesh Cabinet on Tuesday decided to discontinue the MLA fund for the next two years and cut the salary of minister, MLA and those holding political positions by thirty percent. There is a possibility that the Uttarakhand government cabinet meeting can decide on it.
