Dehradun: Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines and State Election In-charge Prahlad Joshi has said that a sports policy will be introduced in Uttarakhand soon. Preparations are being completed. He said the Government is working towards promoting sports and sportspersons. The Union Minister felicitated the budding players of Doiwala Vinay Upadhyay, Satish Kumar, Shahzad Salmani, Sukhwinder Singh, Satyendra Chaudhary.

On the other hand, Prahlad Joshi accused former Union minister Salman Khurshid of disrespecting Hindu sentiment. He questioned Congress President Sonia Gandhi, former President Rahul Gandhi and National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as to what action they are taking against Salman Khurshid. Joshi, who is about a stay in Uttarakhand, was interacting with media persons at the state party office in Dehradun. Asked about the controversy over Salman Khurshid's book about the Ayodhya controversy comparing Hindutva dreaded terror outfits Boko Haram and the Islamic state, Joshi said, "I want to ask Rahul, Priyanka, Sonia. You go to temples and pronounce Gautra and speak yourself as Hindu.

Hindus pretend to behave. We also try to preach that we are Hindus. Is Salman taking action against Khurshid, who disrespected Hindusentiment and Hindutva? He said Hindutva is not just religion or caste, it is the way of life. From Mahatma Gandhi to his party, many people called it Hindustani. He asked if those who disrespected India were going to take action on Salman. He said that the Congress is against Hindus, which has been proven in history.
