The monsoon can knock over the state on 22 or 23 June. Heavy rainfall is expected in most areas of the state from 22 to 25 June. The India Meteorological Department has sent this information to the State Meteorological Center on Saturday. According to the local weather center, due to the formation of low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, many areas may receive very heavy rainfall. Heavy rains are forecast, especially in most districts of Kumaon division. There is a possibility of rain in the Garhwal division.

Meteorological Center Director Bikram Singh said that normally monsoon reaches Uttarakhand on 21 June. The Central Meteorological Department has predicted a delay of one or two days in this. However, heavy rains with heavy showers may occur during this period. He informed that heavy rains may occur in most areas of the state from 22 to 25 June. On Saturday, there was heavy rain in Pithoragarh and other hill districts. Here in Haldwani, people got relief from the heat due to rain after noon. Torrential rains disrupted life in Dharchula and Bedinag on Saturday.

Six roads in the district were closed due to rain. 47.20 mm in Dharchula, 23.50 in Bedinag, 9.50 in Didihat, 7.00 in Munsiyari, and 2.70 mm in Gangolihat. Tawaghat-Ghatiyabgarh, Baluwakot-Payyapudi, Madkot-Darma, Mussoorie-Kanda Hokra, Bansabgarh-Mani Dhami, Nachni-Bhaiskot have been closed due to rain. The population of more than two thousand suffered from road closure.
