Vadodara: On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accompanied by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, orchestrated a vibrant roadshow in Vadodara. The streets were teeming with enthusiastic supporters, with a notable majority being women, who held aloft placards and extended a warm welcome to PM Modi as he cruised through the city in a flower-adorned open-topped vehicle.

Of particular significance was the conspicuous presence of a substantial group of women who led the convoy of PM Modi, eliciting cheers and chants from the jubilant locals. Earlier that day, Prime Minister Modi had delivered a speech at the Science City in Ahmedabad, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.

He hailed two decades of the summit as a pivotal achievement in the advancement of the state. PM Modi reminisced about the early days of Vibrant Gujarat when the state lacked proper accommodations for foreign guests. Government guesthouses were consistently occupied, forcing them to make do with university guesthouses for hosting foreign delegates.

He emphasized that their vision for Vibrant Gujarat extended beyond redevelopment; it aimed to bolster the state's global standing and establish a platform for international connections. According to PM Modi, the world closely monitored the success of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, which he described as not just a means of branding the state but also a way to foster bonds.

He noted that following the triumph of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, several other states had started organizing similar events to attract investments. The event drew a diverse audience, including industry associations, prominent figures from the business world, enterprising young entrepreneurs, and students from higher education and technical colleges, among others.
