Srinagar: What is happening in Jammu and Kashmir? This is the question in everyone's mind at this time. Thousands of security forces have been deployed in the valley. At the same time, some local politicians have also been detained in their own homes. Internet and phone services have also been suspended across Jammu and Kashmir. The security forces have now been given satellite phones to handle any situation.

Police and security forces have been deployed at all corners of the valley to avoid any untoward incident. There is a strict security watch at the corners of the valley. Whether it is a tourist or a local citizen, everyone has been warned not to leave the house.  In Srinagar, Section 144 has been imposed in view of security. The general public has been asked not to move out of their homes.

There is also a ban on the exit of a group of people. Only 40 companies of CRPF have been deployed in Jammu. Earlier, thousands of additional security forces were already deployed in Kashmir. All schools and colleges in the valley have been ordered to close. The examination at the universities on August 5 has also been postponed till further orders.
