Veteran Actor Kaikala Satyanarayana passes away, part of over 750 films

One of the most renowned and Veteran actors in the Telugu Industry Kaikala Satyanarayana died early on Friday morning at his residence in Hyderabad. He was 87. The actor had been a part of over 750 films from the time of NTR. His family member sharing the new information that the last rites of Satyanarayana will be performed at Mahaprasthanam crematorium in Jubilee Hills on Saturday.

Kaikala Satyanarayana was born on July 25, 1935 in Krishna district, Satyanarayana completed his primary education in Gudlavalleru and intermediate education in Vijayawada. He graduated from Gudivada college.

Kaikala was first noticed by DL Narayana, who offered him a role in his film “Supayi Koothuru” directed by Changayya in 1959.

On the career front Satyanarayana established Rama Films production house and made films such as Kodama Simham (1990), Bangaru Kutumbam (1994) and Muddula Mogudu (1997). Hee was noticed for his resemblance to NT Rama Rao. Satyanarayana who was a close follower of legendary actor and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh NT Rama Rao.

Satyanarayana also has a part of politics. He got elected to 11th Lok Sabha from Machilipatnam on Telugu Desam Party (TDP) ticket, but withdrew from politics after 1998. He received several awards, including the 2011 Raghupati Venkaiah award, 2017 Filmfare lifetime achievement award for Telugu cinema and Andhra Pradesh government’s Nandi film awards. Various Tollywood actors and fans his shocked by his death and they are paying tribute to him as he had played very significant role in Telugu Industry and was a part of the industry from years.
