New Delhi: India's legendary spinner Harbhajan Singh has announced his retirement from international cricket on Friday. Harbhajan Singh made his international debut in 1998 and has now decided to say goodbye to cricket forever after 23 wars. Harbhajan Singh started his cricket at the age of just 17 and today he is 41 years old.

Harbhajan Singh started his international career with a Test match against Australia in Chennai in 1998. He then made his ODI debut against New Zealand the same year. He played his first T20 match against South Africa in 2006. Since then, he has taken 417 wickets in a total of 103 Tests, while scoring 2235 runs with two centuries.

In 236 ODI matches, he took 269 wickets and scored 1237 runs. On the other hand, when it comes to T20s, he has 25 wickets to his name in 28 matches. Harbhajan Singh is the third highest Wicket Taker for India after Anil Kumble and R Ashwin. Harbhajan Singh has also played for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL, taking a total of 150 wickets.
