New Delhi: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has once again demanded for the construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. The VHP's All India Saint Committee is on the Ram mandir agitation is scheduled to meet in Delhi on Saturday. The meeting will be attended by 100 saints including VHP National Vice President Champat Rai, Mahant Gyandev, Yugaman Swami Paramanand, Swami Jitendraand and Dr. Ram Vilas Das Vedanti.

According to sources, the VHP's All India Sant Committee will seek a law in Parliament from PM Modi's government on Saturday to construct the Ram temple. The VHP's All India Sant Samiti says that just as the Modi government passed a bill in Parliament to remove Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, a law should also be enacted for the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya.

The Ram temple case is being heard in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has decided to hold a five-day hearing in the case. Earlier, the Supreme Court had set up an arbitration panel to resolve the matter, which failed to resolve the dispute. It is only after this that the Supreme Court has decided to hear the case daily.
