Indian captain Virat Kohli, who played two unbeaten semi-directional innings in the second and third match of the T20 series played between India and England, has benefited from a place in the latest ICC rankings. Kohli has joined the top 5 players of T20I. In the series, KL Rahul, who has scored one run so far, has lost one notch and has reached the third to fourth position. The ICC has recently released the latest T20 rankings.

In this ranking, Virat Kohli is ranked fourth with 744 points with 5th and KL Rahul 771 points. In this list, England batsman David Malan is on top with 894 points, while Aaron Finch and Babar Azam are second and third respectively. In the third match between India and England on March 16, the English team won the match by 8 wickets to take a lead of 2-1 in the series. In the past, Mark Wood helped to beat three Indian players with his fast bowling to a score of 156, after which Jos Butler helped to win England with 10 balls by playing an unbeaten 83 run.

On the Indian side, though Captain Kohli had played an unbeaten inning of 77 runs, the Indian team failed to score a big due to losing three wickets on 24 runs in the powerplay. Except for Kohli, no Indian batsman could even cross the run of 25.
