Five people have lost their lives in the horrific road accident in Barsur district of Chhattisgarh late on Thursday night. The accident occurred due to uncontrolled overturning of a high-speed car in Barsur police station area. Two of the dead have been identified, while three others are being identified. Police reached the spot after getting information and are investigating the accident.

According to media reports, the five deceased were in the car. Late-night when the accident happened, the car was going from Geedam towards Barsur. Meanwhile, the car overturned uncontrollably near Ganesh Bahar. At that time the speed of the car must have been very high. Due to this, the car slipped off the road and hit a tree on the roadside. The car was badly damaged in the accident.

Due to this terrible accident, the car overturned and it was badly damaged, the people in it did not get a chance to get out. The car riders got badly trapped inside. The place where the accident took place remains deserted at night. Due to this, no help could be reached to the victims of the accident. In the morning, the people passing by informed the police about the accident. After reaching the spot, the police reached the hospital after a lot of trouble and rushed them to the hospital. All have been declared dead in the hospital. The bodies have been sent for postmortem.
