The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for the country's capital Delhi on Sunday. Clouds are seen in Delhi-NCR since this morning. While some areas have also received rain.

According to the Lucknow Center of the Meteorological Department, thunderstorms may occur in Saharanpur, Shamli and rain in some places today. As per estimates, Baghpat, Hapur, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Moradabad, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Rampur, Bareilly, Badaun, Lakhimpur Kheri, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Bahraich, Balrampur, Gonda, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar and in districts like Basti, there is a possibility of rain with hail and thunder at various places.
