According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain with thunderstorms in many areas in Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh today or Sunday.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad in Delhi-NCR. Whereas in Uttar Pradesh, Bulandshahar, Hathras, Palwal, Chandausi, Moradabad, Sambhal, Amroha, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Shamli, Hapur and surrounding areas have been predicted to receive rain with strong winds. During this time the wind speed can be up to 30-50 kilometers per hour. According to the Meteorological Department, the national capital of the country is expected to get cloudy on Sunday and rain along with thunderstorm in some places on Sunday.

The Safdarjung observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 34.8 degrees Celsius, 6 degrees below normal on Saturday, while it was recorded 37 degrees Celsius on Friday. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of heatwave conditions in Delhi before June 8.
