Lucknow: The weather in Northern India is going to change once again. According to the Indian Meteorological Ministry, rain and thundershowers are likely to occur in the entire western Himalayan region for the next 2-3 days. The impacts of which will be seen in some states of Northern India, the Ministry Of Meteorology says, there may be snowfall or rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning is being estimated in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad on March 17, and Himachal Pradesh as well as adjoining plains of North-West India on March 19.

Sporadic rains, strong wind, and extreme winds (30-40 kmph) are expected to occur in Madhya Pradesh during the next 5 days, the same can be seen in Vidarbha between March 17 and March 20 and Chhattisgarh on March 18. Hailstones are also expected to fall in Eastern Madhya Pradesh on March 18, with rain expected in North-East India between the next 3 days. Thunderstorms and lightning are likely to fall in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya on March 17.
