New Delhi: Once again the problem of the cold wave has become a problem for people all over North India including the capital of the country. The temperature was recorded at 5 degrees Celsius on Friday morning, which was 3.8 degrees Celsius on Thursday. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the freezing, dry westerly winds blowing in the plains, the temperature has dropped. In addition, due to dense fog, visibility also decreased.

According to the department, the minimum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 5 degrees and the maximum temperature is 21 degrees Celsius on Friday. CPRO of Northern Railway said that 27 trains were running late on Friday due to dense fog. According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), Delhi's air was recorded in the very poor category on Friday morning, with the air quality (AQI) level recorded at 346.

According to the Skymet Weather Report, light rains are likely to occur in parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in the next 24 hours. At the same time, a cold wave is likely to continue in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan. Not only this, but there is also the possibility of frost in many plains states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh.
