Once again, the snowfall and rain in the mountainous regions of North India has increased the cold. Snowfall continued in the high altitude areas of Uttarakhand on Friday in Char Dham and Hemkund. The feeling of cold has increased once again. In Jammu and Kashmir, there was fresh snowfall in the higher mountain areas and rain in the lower areas. According to Skymet Weather, a private weather agency, once again, due to the activation of western disturbances, rain can be seen in many areas of India, while some areas may also get hail. This can increase the problems of farmers.

According to information received from the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of change in the weather in Uttarakhand from late night. Meanwhile, snowfall continues in Hemkund Sahib along with Badrinath and Kedarnath. Snowfall may occur in areas up to a height of 3000 meters on Saturday and rain and hail are expected in the lower areas. This mood of the weather will remain till Sunday. Bikram Singh, director of the State Meteorological Center, said that weather conditions may occur in the state on Saturday and Sunday. During this time, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi and Pithoragarh can get snowfall at an altitude of two and a half thousand to three thousand feet, while there is a possibility of hail in the lower areas.

Due to the effect of western disturbance on Friday, the weather conditions in Jammu and Kashmir again became sharper. Fresh snowfall occurred in the higher mountain areas of the valley and rain in the lower areas. Due to this, the cold has increased again. Jammu had a cloudy day. The cold winds kept going. According to the Meteorological Department, the mood of the weather is expected to remain sharp during the next 24 hours. The sky remained cloudy in the low-lying areas of Kashmir, including Srinagar, till noon. Drizzle started in the afternoon. Tourist places Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Sadhana Top and other high mountain areas have 2-6 inch thick sheets of snow. At the same time, helicopter service running from Katra, the base camp of Mata Vaishno Devi was affected due to bad weather.
