Kolkata: Reports of frequent bomb blasts are being reported from West Bengal ruled by Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee. Now there has been a blast while making a bomb in Panshkuda in Purba Medinipur of the state. The intensity of the blast was so high that the house where the bomb was being made was badly damaged. Also, one person lost his life in this accident and many people have been injured. The bomb blast incident triggered panic in the area.  

Police have reached the area and the injured have been admitted to the local hospital for treatment, while the police have blocked the entire area. The entire matter is being investigated. According to the information received, the bomb blast took place in Sadhwapota village under Purvi Chilkar of Panshukuda in Purba Medinipur. One person lost his life in the explosion while making the bomb. A part of the house collapsed. Many people were seriously injured.

According to the report, firecrackers were made in the house of one Shrikant Bhakta of Sadhavpota village in Panshukuda. The number of members of the house is five. Locals have said that one of them, 17-year-old Shambhu Samant, died on the spot. The injured woman i.e. Shrikant Bhakta's wife has been admitted to Tamlu, while the landlord is missing. Since this incident, there is panic in the area and angry locals have protested.
