Kolkata: West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar has said that singer KK's death was very painful. "I have received videos from many people and I have seen those videos. Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar said there could not have been more mismanagement. The administration could not have failed more than that. He said that if we look at every aspect of it, negligence is clearly visible.''
The Governor said that those who were responsible for maintaining the atmosphere there and had to control the number of people. In the event of a crisis, some remedial steps had to be taken, there was a complete failure. Those who were supposed to monitor it should be held accountable. It may be mentioned that on the death of KK, Kolkata Police has registered a case of unnatural death and started an investigation. The opposition BJP has accused the Mamata Banerjee government of negligence in Bengal. To this, the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) has taken strong exception to this, saying that the BJP should not politicise it.
The Kolkata Police said that the post-mortem of the singer has been done. An official said, "The manager and other employees of the hotel where KK was staying have also been questioned by the police. A case of unnatural death has been registered at the New Market police station. This five-star hotel falls in this police station area, in which KK was staying.
