Malda: Two persons died and another injured when a country-made bomb exploded in Malda district of West Bengal in the wee hours of Sunday. The police gave this information about the case. In fact, he said that the deceased has been identified as Farzan SK (45) and Safiqul Islam (30). Let me tell you all that all of them were making a bomb in a field at Jesarthala Balutola in the Manikchak police station area when the bomb exploded by accident.

A police officer said, "The locals heard a loud bang around 2.30 pm. By the time our personnel reached the area, three of the injured had been rushed to hospital. Doctors at the hospital declared two of them brought dead, while the other person is being treated at Malda Medical College and Hospital.''
