Kolkata: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) government headed by CM Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal has failed to tackle the coronavirus. After getting poor ration in Murshidabad, people created a ruckus and shouted slogans against the government. In the video viral of this incident, people are seen fighting and lifting the chair. People say that they are being given very poor quality ration under the PDS system.

People also said that in Mamata's West Bengal, not only the poor ration is given but also in very small quantity. People created a ruckus in front of the police. Later the police somehow controlled the case. Hundreds of people surrounded the house of a ration dealer during this uproar in Salar region. Their demand was that the government fix the ration system. The mob broke into the house of ration dealer Haleem Sheikh.

The public had said that Sheikh is very much involved in ration distribution and gives only half of what should be got. CM Mamata Banerjee had announced that all the cardholders would be given 5-kilo ration. There are reports of disturbances in ration distribution from many areas of the state.
