New Delhi: The West Indies team will visit India after suffering a crushing defeat at the hands of Team India. The West Indies team will come to Dehradun to play a series against Afghanistan. There will be three T20 and three ODI series between the two countries while the only Test match will also be played here. The first T20 match will be held on November 5. At the same time, the ODI series will start from November 13.

Afghanistan, led by newly appointed captain Rashid Khan, had a historic win in Bangladesh in a Test match. At the same time, Cricket West Indies (CWI) has decided that now Jason Holder from ODI and Carlos Braithwaite from T20 will no longer be captain. In place of these two, Kirron Pollard has been appointed captain of limited formats, which has been officially announced.

It was decided on Saturday on the first day of the two-day meeting of the Board of Directors of CWI. The selection committee selected the name of Kirron Pollard, who will be the captain of the team in ODIs and T20s. The 32-year-old played his last ODI in 2016. He was included in the reserve players for the 2019 World Cup and the T20 series against India. Jason Holder will continue in the ODI squad and will also be the captain of the Test.
