Payal Rohatgi is one of the renowned faces of Bollywood. She has acted in the number of films and TV Serials. She remains in news because of her controversial statement. Payal Rohatgi is quite vocal about different issues. Payal Rohatgi was once in a relationship with popular face Rahul Gandhi.

 In 2010 when Rahul was alleged of Domestic violence by his that time wife Dimpi.  Payal also made some serious allegations on him. She said, “He did hit me twice. Once he banged my head against the door. When Rahul is angry, he completely loses his mind.”

Payal said, “I don’t live in the past. It’s been a long time. But after hearing the news of the beating I felt very bad for her, nobody should be treated like that. She is a woman, I can understand that.” She further said, “When I spoke out about Dimpy and Rahul in a previous interview, Dimpy denied everything and said that all was fine between her and Rahul, but the next day the news of him beating her came out. This itself speaks a lot about how much was fine between them.”

She further speaking about Rahul’s toxic behavior said, “Rahul is only bothered about himself, He can sue anybody. I cried because I was in a relationship with him at that time and he was doing something on TV where everyone was watching, it made me really upset; I had not been given any glycerin, I actually cried,”  She also recalled when Rahul threatens her to commit suicide, "Rahul has been calling on my landline since yesterday. He told my maid he'd commit suicide if I didn't talk to him. He told her, 'Didi ko bolo phone karegi nahin toh main suicide karunga."

On the career front, Payal participated as a contestant in the Femina Miss India. She has also worked in the Hollywood film Refugee, which was launched in the same year. Later she acted in many movies like Tumse Milakar, Plan, Police Force, Rakth, Laila A Mystery, Tauba Tauba, Fun, 36 China Town, Corporate, Heyy Babyy, and Dhol.

In the year 2007, she made her debut as a contestant in the TV show Fear Factor India 2. Payal has participated in many TV shows like Raj Peechle Janam Ka, Meethi Churi No 1, CID, Zor Ka Jhatka, Survivor India, Hum Ne Li Hai Shapath, Welcome, Bigg Boss 7, Nach Baliye Season 7, and Suryaputra Karna. She has recently appeared in Kangana Ranaut’s Lock up. Payal Rohatgi and Sangram Singh got married on July 9, 2022. The couple hosted their third wedding reception in Mumbai on August 27. They got engaged to each other in 2014.
