BJP veteran and former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has passed away at the age of 66 at AIIMS in Delhi today. He breathed his last at AIIMS at 12.07 p.m. He was recruited here for quite some time. His demise has led to a wave of mourning across the country. Condolences are being offered from almost every field.

For your information, Jaitley was born on September 28, 1952 in Delhi. His father, Maharaj Kishan Jaitley, was a lawyer by profession while his mother was Ratan Prabha Jaitley. Arun Jaitley studied at St. Xavier's School in Delhi. He then graduated from the Delhi University's Shri Ram College of Commerce and then got a law degree from Delhi University.Arun Jaitley's political career began with THE (Delhi University). On May 24, 1982, Arun Jaitley was married to Sangeeta Jaitley. They have a son, Rohan and daughter Sonali.
