New Delhi: Congress leader Udit Raj, who is often in discussions due to his controversial statements, has once again given a statement provoking people for violence. The Congress appointed him as the President of the 'All India Unorganized Workers and Employees Congress' in November 2023. Now Udit Raj has shared a picture of himself on his Twitter handle, in which he is seen giving a speech. Also, he has written in the caption that, 'Whoever is a Modi devotee will be killed.' After this, users on social media are criticizing his statement.

However, when Udit Raj started being criticized on this tweet, after about 2 hours, while clarifying on his own tweet, he wrote, 'This is true. Whoever did bhakti was killed. Be it a youth, a farmer or a wrestler. Everyone's number comes. Two crore jobs for youth, double income of farmers or government employees all were killed. Today the wrestlers who are protesting for justice at Jantar showed devotion to Modi and lifted the protest in January and were killed. The youth who voted for two crore jobs were also killed. Let us tell you that Udit Raj's 'Mara Jayega' tweet was done on April 25 at 1:44 pm, while after the controversy escalated, he made clarifying comments at 4:12 and 4:18. It is notable that this statement of Udit Raj is being considered as an instigator for violence. Because, this may lead to attacks on BJP leaders and supporters, Like happened after TMC's victory in Bengal assembly elections in 2021. It was claimed in the Supreme Court that around 1 lakh people had migrated from Bengal, mostly BJP supporters.

Let us tell you that in 2014, Udit Raj, who became MP from North-West Delhi on a BJP ticket, was defeated in 2019, after which he joined the Congress and started ranting against PM Narendra Modi. Denying his ticket, the BJP fielded singer Hans Raj Hans as its candidate, who also won. Since then, Udit Raj starts supporting every protest against BJP and many times gives controversial and provocative statements.
