New Delhi: Team India has not played cricket in Pakistan for a long time. The last time the Indian team went on a tour of Pakistan was in 2008 and played the Asia Cup. But, after this India has never visited Pakistan. In 2004-05, India played cricket in Pakistan after a long time and then the team went to Pakistan in 2005-06 as well. Now India's former explosive batsman Virender Sehwag has told an anecdote about the tour of Pakistan and told that something happened to him that he became emotional.

Let us tell you that Sehwag had scored the first triple century of his Test career against Pakistan. He played a blistering inning of 309 runs in Multan on the 2003-04 tour of Pakistan. With this, he became the first batsman to score a triple century for Team India in Tests. Although India and Pakistan have been at loggerheads politically for a long time, but the anecdote narrated by Sehwag shows that Indians are given a lot of love and respect in Pakistan.

Talking on Gaurav Kapoor's show Breakfast with Champions, Sehwag told that when Team India went to Pakistan in 2003-04, the second Test match was in Lahore. Sehwag says that he bought clothes for his mother, aunt and sisters from there. Sehwag said that when he went to give money, the people there refused to take money from him and said that you are a guest, how can they take money from you.

Sehwag told that wherever he went in Pakistan, there was no such place where people did not give him love. Sehwag said that when he told that he was from Delhi, people shared many stories with him, listening to which he used to get very emotional and his tears also came.
