The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) announced the winter vacation timetable for students in schools.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has officially declared that the winter break for schools will commence on December 25, 2023. In case of any confusion or inquiries regarding these dates, parents and students are encouraged to reach out to the respective school administrations for clarification.

The RBSE conveyed this information via the microblogging platform 'X,' stating, "Winter vacation will start from 25th December." However, the board has not yet disclosed the exact date for schools to resume after the break. Students are advised to stay updated with the latest notifications concerning the Rajasthan School Winter Holidays 2023.

For RBSE Class 10 students, the English exam is scheduled to kick off on February 15, while the Class 12 exam will commence with Psychology. The Class 10 examinations are slated to conclude with the Vocational paper on April 10, whereas the Class 12 examinations will end with Painting on April 10, 2024.

Meanwhile, in Delhi, the Directorate of Education (DoE) has also announced alterations to the winter break schedule for schools. The latest update reveals a reduction in the winter vacation period from fifteen days to six days. Consequently, the revised dates specify that the winter break in Delhi will begin on January 1, 2024.

Initially, the winter vacation was scheduled between January 1 and 15, 2024. However, due to the deteriorating air quality index in Delhi, the Delhi government implemented an earlier winter holiday from November 9 to 18, 2023, to address the concerns. This adjustment has been made to compensate for the loss of educational time by shortening the duration of the winter vacation.
