London: Shikhar Dhawan hits a superb century (117) against Australia on Sunday in World Cup 2019. With this gritty innings, he also broke many one-day cricket history records. Shikhar Dhawan scored the 17th century of his ODI career and this is Dhawan's third century in the World Cup. Dhawan had scored two centuries in the World Cup of 2015.

According to information, Shikhar Dhawan equaled a record 20 years old, scoring a century in his second World Cup match at the Oval ground. Now Dhawan has become the second batsman to score a century against Australia in the World Cup. Before him, in the World Cup of 1999, Indian batsman Ajay Jadeja had played 100 runs at the Oval ground in the World Cup against Australia, but India lost the match.

With the same, Dhawan has so far hit six centuries in the ICC tournament, scoring a century against Australia, Dhawan has equaled the highest century Sachin Tendulkar (6) in the ICC tournament in the Indian side, while Sourav Ganguly has scored (4) centuries.
