Lucknow: A woman leader of the Samajwadi Party (SP) has been accused of hooliganism in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi. The case pertains to dalit land in a village under Amethi Kotwali, which was illegally occupied by SP's woman leader Gunjan Singh by running a bulldozer and also threatened to kill the Dalit family while showing dacoity. As soon as the video of this case went viral on social media, there has been a stir.

As soon as the matter came to the notice of the police, a case was not registered on the complaint of the victim, but after reaching the spot, the police have also stopped the construction work being carried out by SP leader Gunjan Singh. Police say the investigation into the case is ongoing. The case pertains to Sarai Rajshah village in Amethi Kotwali area. It is alleged that SP's woman leader Gunjan Singh, along with the dabangs, has bulldozed the house of Dalit Dayaram Kori and threatened to kill the dalit's family if he protested. Gunjan Singh's video of the hooliganism is fast going viral on social media.

In this video, the SP leader is seen running a bulldozer and threatening to see the Dalit family. After the video went viral, the police took cognizance of the matter and reached the spot and stopped the ongoing construction work on the ground. A case has also been registered against the SP leader on the complaint of the victim, Dalit Dayaram Kori. In this case, the victim Dayaram Kori said that Ram Singh, Gunjan Singh are occupying and selling our house on the strength of dabangai and goondai, three-four bissa land which is being forcibly occupied, The application was given in kotwali but he did not appear in the police station, the trees have also been cut down.

Amethi Area Officer Manoj Yadav said, "The victim Dayaram Kori has complained that Gunjan Singh was occupying our land, in connection with which he spoke to his brother Jialal and he said that we are four brothers, we were divided, we had divided our land, we sold our land to Gunjan Singh. She was cleaning her land when she and Dayaram had a dispute, legal action has been taken in the matter."
