The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath, has taken major action against the policy of zero tolerance towards corruption. The Chief Minister has ordered a departmental inquiry by suspending 13 officers in Badaun Treasury for non-compliance with stamp manual and laxity in work. At the same time, orders have been ordered against the insurance companies which have been reluctant to give insurance claims to the farmers.

According to media reports, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has suspended three senior treasurers working in the Badaun treasury, and has been ordered to investigate on embezzlement of Rs 5 crore. In this case, 10 officials of Tehsildar level have also been suspended and orders for departmental inquiry have been given against them.

The CM is looking very serious on complaints of not giving claims by insurance companies. It is expected that he can take some strict steps in this matter. Taking the complaint of the insurance company seriously in giving the claim of Chief Minister Sarvhit Kisan Bima Yojana, the Chief Minister has ordered an inquiry against the insurance company. There were complaints of inadvertence in giving insurance claims to large number of farmers in Barabanki. In view of this, the Chief Minister has issued this order.
