Lucknow: Amidst the growing anger against the increasing crime against women and children, the Yogi government of the state is going to take concrete initiative to punish the culprits soon. On Monday, the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath may approve the setting up of 218 courts for speedy disposal of POCSO Act and rape-related promises. Apart from this, many other important proposals are likely to be stamped. The cabinet meeting will be held at Lok Bhavan from 10 am on Monday.
According to information received from sources, before the incident of burning of rape victim in Hyderabad and then Unnao, the resentment of common people against female violence from death is at its peak. It is coming to light that the delay in the prosecution and disposal of cases against women and child crime accused becomes the cause of many serious incidents.
At the same time, a report has revealed that the state government plans for speedy settlement of criminal promises prevalent in courts and rape related to women under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act-2012 (POCSO Act). Work has started on Sources said that the state government can set up 218 regular courts outright for the disposal of such cases. With this, the culprits related to crime of women and children will be punished soon and the victims will get justice.
