The budget session of UP Legislature will start from 13 February and will run till 7 March. A detailed schedule for this first session of the year 2020 has been released. On the first day, Governor Anandiben Patel will address the joint sitting of the two houses. On February 18 at 12:20 pm, the Yogi government will present its fourth budget. According to an estimate, this time the budget of UP government will be more than 5 lakh crores.

According to the media report, the program of the budget session of the Legislature was released on Thursday. Principal Secretary Assembly Pradeep Kumar Dubey said that on the first day of the session (on February 13), Governor Anandi Ben Patel will address a joint meeting of the Assembly and the Legislative Council. Discussion will begin on 14 February on the Governor's address. There will be no meeting on 15 and 16 February and discussion on the address will continue on 17.

On this matter, the principal secretary said that the budget will be presented on February 18. The speech will be discussed on the 19th and after this, the discussion on the budget will begin on the 20th of February. After the Mahashivratri holiday on 21, there will be no meeting on 22 and 23 February. The budget will be restored and passed on 7 February. Let us know that in the last year i.e. 2019, the Yogi government of UP presented its third budget of four lakh 79 thousand 701 crore 10 lakh rupees (Rs 4,79,701.10 crore). That UP government's budget was 12 percent more than its previous budget. In the budget of last year, the Yogi government had included new schemes worth Rs 21 thousand 212 crore 95 lakh (Rs 21,212.95 crore).
