Lucknow: Despite strict laws and all the claims of the government, crimes against women and girls are not coming down. Many times, women and children fall prey to the dirty fate of one of their own relatives. One such case has come to light from Bulandshahar in Uttar Pradesh, where an Abbu used to molest his own daughters.  

A case has been registered against accused Abbu Zakir Ali on the basis of a written complaint given by the daughters in the case. Bulandshahr police have also initiated action in the case. Journalist Sachin Gupta tweeted, "45-year-old Zakir Ali has 9 daughters in Bulandshahar district of UP. Today, 3 daughters have complained to the SSP. It is alleged that the father molests all the daughters, touches the private parts, forces them to sleep with them. The police began an investigation. #Bulandshahr'

Taking cognizance of Sachin Gupta's tweet, bulandshahr police has also responded. In a tweet, the police wrote, "Based on the information received in connection with the allegations levelled against the father by the girls, advance legal action is being ensured by registering a case against Thana Syana. However, this police has taken cognizance of the matter and started taking action. At the same time, a letter is going viral in which a complaint has been requested to be lodged claiming those three daughters.
