The pharmaceutical company Zydus Cadila has gone far in the direction of the corona vaccine. Day by day the company continues to move forward. By issuing a statement on behalf of the company recently, it has been said, 'Phase One clinical trial for Corona Vaccine Candidate ZyCoV-D was completed and successful. The trial for the second phase will start from August 6. ZyCoV-D has been very successful in the first phase experiment and it has also been safe.

In the first phase, there is an investigation about the safety of the vaccine candidate. After being safe, the real trial starts. This trial is going to start from 6 August. Its first phase trial started on July 15 and the company has crossed this phase within 20 days. Now it is the turn of the second phase which is going to be very important. In this regard, Zydus Cadila chairman Pankaj R Patel said that the safety of the vaccine is checked in the first phase. After placing the dose, we kept all the subjects under 24-hour medical supervision for 7 days. There was no problem with any subject and this experiment was highly successful. In the second phase, along with safety, immunity is checked. In this stage, it is known whether the vaccine is capable of producing antibodies and immunity.

Zydus Cadila is the second pharma company in India which has got permission from DCGA to produce the vaccine. Earlier this permission has been given to the company Bharat Biotech which is busy working with the Indian Council of Medical Research and National Institute of Virology on COVAXIN.
