Kolkata: In the north-east part of the city, the body of a woman and her 9-month-old son was discovered hanging as per the statement by police.
A senior police officer as per the sources news said, "Poulomi Rout (35) was found hanging clutching the lifeless body of her nine-month-old baby boy at her residence under E E Block."
The husband of a deceased woman, Anup Rout was interrogated by the detective. The couple also has an eight-year-old son. After the incident, his care is done by the family members.
