Mumbai: A boat accident took place in Wardha river in Amravati district of Maharashtra recently and rescue teams recovered the bodies of seven more people today. This has been informed by the police. Let us tell you all that the incident took place last Tuesday and a total of 13 people were on board the boat. Two of the occupants had swam to the river bank. A police official said that the bodies of three persons were recovered by the rescue team last Tuesday.

He further said police and disaster management cell teams have recovered the bodies of seven more persons, taking the death toll to 10. Moreover, police said, an 11-year-old girl on board the boat is still missing. Let us also inform all of you that seven women and three men were among the dead. The official said the deceased include two girls aged two years and 13 years and an eight-year-old boy.

Let us tell you that this incident took place when 12 members of some families of Gadegaon village were riding in a boat towards a temple. Police said the accident occurred due to the overload of the boat.
