Guwahati: Due to monsoon rains in the country, there are constant flood conditions in many states. Of these, Bihar and Assam have been the most affected by the floods. Lakhs of people are in floods in both these states and many districts are submerged in floodwater. Talking about Assam, floods have also caused chaos in the state.

According to reports, more than 56.9 lakh people have been affected in 30 districts due to floods in the state, the State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) in its daily flood report on Friday has given information in this regard. ASDMA said that 56,91,694 persons have been affected in 30 districts of Assam due to the floods.

113 people have died due to floods. A total of 626 relief camps have been set up for flood victims in the state, in which 1,56,874 victims have taken shelters. While the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been deployed at eight places in Assam, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) ) is stationed at 40 different places in the state.

In many states of the country, rivers are in spate due to rain. Due to this, flood-like situations have arisen in many states. The situation is very bad in Bihar. So far 27 people have lost their lives. Whereas the floods have caused heavy destruction in 16 districts in the state.
