Megastar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.O is released on Thursday and film is gaining positive response from the audience. S Shankar directorial 2.O is a sequel to his 2010 blockbuster Enthiran. However, this is the first time Akshay is a part of the film as a villain and its the first film of Akshay in South Indian film industry.
The Thalaiva and Akki fans were blown over by their performances. The one of the USP of the film is VFX scenes that left the audience stumped. On its day 1, 2.0 opened up to RS 20.25 crores at the box office. On the second day of it's release, the collection came down a bit to RS 18 crores approx. However, the film showed a good growth on Saturday. As reported by Box Office India, it has collected around 24-25 crores on saturday. approx, thus showing a jump 35-40% in its box office collection.
2.0 is made in a massive budget of Rs 600 crores.The positive mouth publicity, the Sunday collection of the film is expected to be much better.
