Shimla: There have been 20 COVID-19 positive cases on Wednesday in Paonta of Sirmaur city of the country's state of Himachal Pradesh. An employee of Himachal Pradesh University has been found to be COVID-19 positive. The travel history of the infected patient is being told from Chandigarh. The infected employee's department has been sealed. After the case of infection in HPU, EC, court election can also be postponed.
The employees are meeting the Vice Chancellor to demand that the HPU be kept closed for a week. Significantly, this is the second COVID-19 positive case in HPU. Earlier, a worker in University Business School was found infected. Three COVID-19 positive cases have come to Bilaspur city. There have been two COVID-19 positive cases in Kullu city which includes a soldier of an army and a woman. The cases of corona are increasing continuously in the state.
On the other hand, during the last 24 hours in the country, more than 64 thousand cases of coronavirus have been reported and more than one thousand people have died. In the last two days, less than 60 thousand cases were reported in the country. According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours 64 thousand 531 cases of corona were reported in the country and 1092 people died. The maximum 60,091 patients were cured and 8 lakh one thousand 518 sample tests were done.
