Lucknow: Corona continues to wreak havoc in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, before the commencement of the monsoon session, there was a test of the staff of the assembly, in which 20 corona positives have been found. The Assembly and other 600 employees had been tested before the session started. Now they have got 20 staff corona positive, including the security guards in the assembly staff. The monsoon session of the UP Legislative Assembly is starting from August 20. Before the monsoon session, all MLAs and workers of the assembly were subjected to corona test.

The monsoon session of the assembly is going to be three days. Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit had recently said that, "They have held a meeting with the leaders of all parties to take necessary precautions to prevent corona infection." With this, the speaker of the assembly will take stock of the security arrangements of the assembly today. At the same time, there will be a meeting with the leaders of all parties on August 19. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also going to attend this meeting. It is being told that the speaker is going to attend this meeting after meeting with the leaders of all the parties about the precaution necessary to protect from Corona.

The assembly speaker says that to follow the rules of social distancing, a gap of one seat has been kept between the seats of MLAs in the house. Apart from this, it has also been said to use the lobby area and viewer gallery. According to the rules made there, it is necessary to call a session within 6 months because of this, a three-day session has been called.
