Corona is wreaking havoc in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. In Ujjain district, cases are increasing day by day. On Friday, 21 new corona-positive patients have been found in the city, including local medical officers of the district hospital. The number of infected in Ujjain district has now reached 525. 51 people have lost their lives due to this epidemic, while 219 have been cured and discharged from hospitals and quarantine centers.

However, 19 cases have been reported from Ujjain city and 2 from Mahidpur on Friday. Many of these are from already declared containers. In some new areas, the infection has also knocked. One positive patient has been found in Ahmed Nagar, Bhubaneswar Colony, Nijatpura, Rami Nagar, Mahashweta Nagar. His sample was taken after receiving some symptoms in the RMO of the district hospital.

Some doctors and health workers associated with the hospital have been quarantined after the report came positive. Also, samples are being taken. Here, another patient was discharged from the hospital on Friday. So far 219 patients have been discharged. According to the health department, there are now 255 active patients in the district. 176 of these have no symptoms. The process of treatment of Corona patients with plasma therapy started in the city from Friday. Nurse Deepa Mohan donated the plasma at RD Gardi Medical College, Agar Road. Nurse Deepa also launched the college machine by cutting the lace from which the plasma will be removed.
